Barack Obama/Hillary Clinton In Dead Heat to be Most Web-Searched Presidential Candidate in 2007, Search Experts Predict; Barack: 43%; Hillary: 42%

Rudy in 1st Place of GOP Candidates With 10% Al Gore a write-in with 1%

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, -- April 14, 2007 - Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are in a virtual dead heat to be the most "searched" presidential candidates, according to a survey of 221 search technology experts and web advertisers.

Hillary Clinton received 92 votes; Barack Obama 94 votes. Rudy Giuliani leads GOP candidates with 10%, or 23 votes. The "other" category received two votes or 1% with each person writing in Al Gore. The survey was conducted by hakia, a new meaning-based search engine, on April 11-12 at the Search Engine Strategies 2007 Conference in New York.

Respondents were asked, "Which presidential candidate will get the most web search queries in 2007?" Results are as follows:
